Each summer, the YPC hosts its signature annual event, the Chocolat & Vino Affair, a wine and chocolate tasting extravaganza taking place at San Diego’s finest event venues.
Chocolat & Vino attracts more than 600 of the city’s movers and shakers for a heavenly evening of free-flowing wine, champagne, rich chocolate treats and gourmet hors d’oeuvres that measure up to an adult’s playground. The YPC partners with the region’s leading wineries, wine vendors and dessert brands to create an elegant environment that captivates all attendees. With nearly a dozen of the region’s top wineries and chocolatiers, this event is sure to please the palate.
Previous Chocolat & Vino events have been held at San Diego’s premier event venues including Stingaree, The W Hotel and the San Diego Natural History Museum.
Features of the event include complimentary tastings from several of the region’s top wineries and chocolatiers; heavy hors d’oeuvres from a selection of San Diego’s finest restaurants; and DJ entertainment.
The YPC donates all proceeds from this event to Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County.
At the 2009 Chocolat & Vino Affair, the YPC raised over $20,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County.
