The Development of the Farms Golf Club
The Farms Golf Club was designed by Alice, Perry and Pete Dye. They were helped by Tommy Jacobs, a golf legend. Recently, the golf course was modernized and remodeled by Tom Lehman, a PGA tour professional, and John Fought, a renowned golf course architect. After the renovations, the golf club was opened in October 2000 and was highly appreciated by the members of the club. The modifications improved the maintainability and the playability of the course. The most notable changes were a new practice facility with bunkers, target greens and a driving range, new bunkering and teeing areas that help the player execute and visualize the best shot, new remodeled and reconstructed grass putting greens offering additional hole locations and more undulation and a new irrigation system. The course is situated between hollows and rolling hills and the natural water features add to the course’s value and beauty. Also, the high rough landscaping offers a sense of seclusion and peace, away from the bustling and crowded cities.

Right in front of the golf course, one can admire the impressive clubhouse measuring 38,000 square feet. This building was designed and built by Robert Altevers, a famous architect. The clubhouse is beautifully appointed and thoughtfully planned. All these make the clubhouse a special and sought after gathering place.
