Foodies are invited to experience Taste of Little Italy on June 18. Each year, the neighborhood’s one-of-a-kind eateries open their doors for food lovers to enjoy a sample of each restaurant’s most popular dishes, including appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages.
Taste of Little Italy ticketholders can go from restaurant to restaurant with a Taste Passport, which lists participating restaurants and each location’s specific menu offering. It’s an easy walk, with no shuttles required. After each “bite,” restaurant staff will marks off the stop on the passport and then it’s off to the next stop! Taste of Little Italy offers three routes for passports – a south route and a north route, each featuring over a dozen different restaurants. A single route is priced at $29 and the full route is priced at $45.
During the event, participants stroll along Little Italy’s charming flower and tree-lined sidewalks, enjoying live music scattered throughout the 48-block neighborhood and spectacular views of San Diego’s sparkling embarcadero. Each year approximately 30 restaurants participate in this popular event.
