Founded right here in La Jolla by twin sisters Izzy and Coco Tihanyi, Surf Diva is a unique school that focuses mainly on women (although there are coed and men’s classes as well) where women of all ages can learn to surf in a comfortable environment without any pressure from the “boys.”
Surfing has long been a male- dominated sport and up until recent years there were very few female pro surfers. Not the case any longer. Women are ripping it up around the world and it’s easy to do with Surf Diva. They offer classes and camps and get- away surf adventures to Costa Rica.
