From those who dedicate their lives to protecting others on a daily basis to those men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice, losing their life in the line of duty, Support & Remember will be dedicated to them.
Enjoy gourmet food stations with wine pairing during a reception and program honoring Scripps CEO Chris Van Gorder, this year’s guest of honor. Besides being one of the mot powerful leaders in the healthcare industry, Chris volunteers countless hours to help the people of San Diego as the Reserve Commander of the Search & Rescue Unit of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.

Funds raised at the Support & Remember gala event will support the Deputy Sheriff’s Foundation’s mission — support to San Diego County Deputy Sheriffs and the communities they serve — with programs that:
- Provide relief and assistance to wounded deputies and their families.
- Support the widows and children of deputies who are killed in the line of duty.
- Award Line of Duty Scholarships to children of deputies.
- Help maintain Law Enforcement Memorials for peace officers killed in the line of duty.
- Support San Diego Sheriff’s Museum and National Law Enforcement Museum.
The San Diego County Deputy Sheriff’s Foundation the charitable arm of the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association of San Diego County. It provides support to San Diego County Deputy Sheriffs and the communities they serve. Support & Remember is the foundation’s premier fundraising event.
