Dick Stevens, president of Rotary 5340, invites everyone with a home in Rancho Santa Fe to a free family picnic at San Diego’s Historic Liberty Station on Saturday, May 18th. Bring your family and friends and enjoy delicious refreshments at the beer garden. Don’t worry about making lunch at your Rancho Santa Fe home.
Just grab a bite at one of the many food trucks that will be at the picnic. You’re also welcome to bring a blanket and chairs and a cooler or picnic basket and enjoy lunch on the lawn. The Rotary’s own band, The California Cogs, will be playing fun tunes throughout the event.
You can also get some exercise in the sunshine playing lawn games, as there will be disc (Frisbee) golf, a bocce ball tournament, and a rock climbing wall. The kids can even have a blast hopping around in some fun bounce houses. There will also be a vintage car show for you to browse at your leisure. Vendor booths will be selling clothing, jewelry and more, as well! It’s going to be a great day so close to your Rancho Santa Fe home! Come for a day of family fun for everyone!
