Have you ever admired a hand painted silk scarf and wondered if you could learn to create one of these wearable works of art near your Rancho Santa Fe home? The Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club is hosting the San Diego Silk Guild’s Silky Spring Scarf Painting Workshop on Friday, June 21st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join the San Diego Silk Guild members on the lawn of the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, nestled in between Rancho Santa Fe homes, at 17025 Avienda de Acacias.
The workshop will be held outdoors, so bring a hat and sunscreen from your Rancho Santa Fe home. You’ll be working with permanent dyes, and you’ll want to wear clothes and shoes that can get messy. Light refreshments, coffee, tea, and water will be available, but pack a lunch to bring with you.
The supplies for the workshop will be provided, including a 72” x 14” crepe de chine scarf. You will receive help and instructions from other San Diego Silk Guild members some of whom live in Rancho Santa Fe.
The cost for this fun and creative workshop near your Rancho Santa Fe home is $75 for Garden Club members and $100 for non-members. Send you check to RSF Garden Club, PO Box 483, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067. RSVP to [email protected].
