Rancho Santa Fe 4th of July Events and Activities

Come enjoy Rancho Santa Fe’s July 4th Parade & Picnic on July 4th held by the RSF Community Center and the RSF Golf Club! The picnic leading up to the parade will be featuring a tasty barbecue featuring all-American favorites- burgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches. Kids can also sign up in advance for the June 28-July 2 Camp Rancho week and help make the Community Center’s spectacular float!
Festivities begin at noon, and the parade forms at 12:30 p.m. and begins at 1:00 pm. The music will be by Coastal Communities and there will be a Concert Band following the parade. You’ll have a great time in Rancho Santa Fe for this wonderfully patriotic get-together! You can enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with fun, family, and floats! We hope you have a wonderful Independence Day and remember with gratitude the freedom which makes Rancho Santa Fe and the United States so special.
OTHER SAN DIEGO EVENTS

  • The 4th of July Celebration on the USS Midway is an especially patriotic event.  From 6-9:30 p.m. on the USS Midway Museum, located at 910 N. Harbor Drive, you’ll find a family-friendly carnival with optional flight simulators, carnival style games and live musical performers.  The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.
  • San Diego County Fair 2012: The last day of the fair is on July fourth! Commencing with a patriotic Opening Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. at the O’Brien Gate, this is your chance to have one last hurrah at the fair. Navy Band Southwest will play on the Grandstand Stage at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m., after the concert.

FANTASTIC FIREWORKS

  • San Diego Bay – Big Bay Boom: The Big Bay Boom Fireworks can be seen nearly everywhere in San Diego! The show is in its eleventh year, and is expected to be the largest fireworks display show locally. Be sure to come early to avoid the crowds and get a good seat. The lasts about 17 minutes.
