The Village Church Community Theater is proud to present Rick Lowell: Private Eye. It’s an old fashioned radio drama and dinner theater near Rancho Santa Fe homes. The show will be performed Friday, October 4th at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 5th at 6:30 p.m.
Enjoy a full dinner with friends who live in Rancho Santa Fe. Come dressed in black and white to match the film noir atmosphere. The show is a spoof on the Humphrey Bogart classic move The Maltese Falcon. Private detective Rick Lowell is searching for a prop from The Maltese Falcon. Along the way, he meets up with all the stock characters from a noir film. He’ll run into Nazi agents, violent gangsters, art dealers and more crooked characters. It’s an exciting and hilarious show set in Los Angeles of the 1940’s. Enjoy the “hard boiled” dialogue and well-drawn characters.
