If you are an American Girl, or even just a girl who happens to live in Rancho Santa Fe, you will want to see new show at The Scripps Performing Arts Academy. Over 100 girls, some of whom call Rancho Santa Fe home, and their own American Girl dolls will be seen in full costume at the darling American Girl Fashion Show. An annual event, this year’s show will be held on March 9th and 10th at 2 p.m.
Funds raised by the fashion show will be donated to the UCSD Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Tickets for this event are $35 although limited $100 VIP seating can be purchased, as well. The show will take place at the Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall, located at 5775 Morehouse Drive, in Sorrento Valley. Begun in 1992, the American Girl Fashion Show, as a collective effort, has donated more than $17 million to charities throughout the country that specialize in delivering needed services to children. This year’s show is dedicated to assisting Isabella’s Giraffe Club, which provides emotional and educational support to parents at the NICU at UCSD Medical Center.
