One of the best reasons to live in Rancho Santa Fe is the charming rural beauty of the community. Rolling hills, citrus groves and eucalyptus trees create a relaxing and contemplative background for those fortunate enough to live in Rancho Santa Fe. It’s a wonderful place to raise children close to nature without sacrificing the opportunities provided by living in the city, since San Diego is such a short drive away.
The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center is hosting a Nature Play Date every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Bring your children, newborns to preschoolers, and explore the natural beauty of Rancho Santa Fe. Each play date will explore a different place, including trails, preserves, local parks, and nature areas, both in Rancho Santa Fe and in nearby areas close to your Rancho Santa Fe home. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your children to the joys of the outdoors, forming a connection with the natural world that will stay with them their entire lives.
An RSFCC family membership is required for participation. The fee for the Nature Play Dates is $50 per family per year. Check the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center website for more details and to sign up. You and your children will also form close friendships with the other participating families. Get to know the other nature-lovers who live in Rancho Santa Fe and enjoy your surroundings!
