Library Near Your Rancho Santa Fe Home Offers More Than Books

DSC08861If you enjoy classic books and live in Rancho Santa Fe, you will love April’s Book Club pick at the Rancho Santa Fe Library. Featuring March by Geraldine Brooks, this book club allows you to catch of glimpse of March, the father in the long-loved and much-read story Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.  The book was written from compiling letters and journals from Alcott’s own father, Bronson Alcott, and will reflect a depth gained from the test of faith and family brought on by the Alcott struggles.  The library’s book club, held at 17040 Avenida De Acacias, near your Rancho Santa Fe home, will begin at 2 p.m. on April 10th and all adults are welcome.
If you are looking for a more hands on activity, you can join other residents of Rancho Santa Fe for a jewelry making class.  On Saturday, April 14th at 11 a.m., you can learn to make a paper bead bracelet.  All the supplies will be provided and you will only be limited by your imagination!  These bracelets are easy to learn and make great eco-friendly gifts.  Invite your friends and spend an few hours creating your own art while you share the latest news in your life with one another.  For more information about the library and events, please call 858.756.2512 or click here.
