Kids in Rancho Santa Fe Homes Meet Spooky Critters

Animal loving kids living in Rancho Santa Fe homes should come to the Helen Woodward Animal Center for Autumn Harvest Tours throughout October.  Kids will love the 90-minute Halloween themed tour.  Kids who live in Rancho Santa Fe can meet some spooky, and usually misunderstood, animals.  The hands-on tour is perfect for scout groups.  There are scout patches available to buy.  Other groups of children will enjoy the tour, too.
Kids will get to meet snakes and find out why they shed their skins.  They’ll also learn about exoskeletons and spiders.  Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches will also be featured on the tour.  Find out why and how they hiss!  Did you know there’s a difference between legless lizards and snakes?  Learn all about it on the Autumn Harvest Tour.  It will be a spooky safari near Rancho Santa Fe homes.
