Gala near Rancho Santa Fe Homes to Support San Elijo Lagoon

Did you know that there is a rare and wonderful natural habitat near Rancho Santa Fe homes?  The San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve is one of Southern California’s few remaining coastal wetlands.  The 1000-acre reserve is home to hundreds of species of plants and animals found nowhere else in the state.  Trails are open every day from dawn to dusk.  This is the perfect place for a quite run or walk.  Adults and children who live in Rancho Santa Fe should take advantage of this natural resource.  Visit the San Elijo Ecological Reserve website to plan a visit.
The San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy was founded in 1987.  Its goal is preservation of San Elijo Reserve and education of the community, both those living in Rancho Santa Fe homes and throughout the San Diego area.  Field trips to the Reserve are often provided free of cost to schools that demonstrate a need.
Help the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy continue its preservation and educational work!  You are invited to the biennial Birds of a Feather Gala on Saturday, August 17th.  The festivities begin at 5 p.m. at the garden-style setting.  Enjoy a delicious dinner, focusing on organic and natural ingredients.  Randy Fontaine and the Swingers will provide musical entertainment.  Be sure to check out the auction packages offered.  Get your friends and family from Rancho Santa Fe homes together and support the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy.  Click here to learn more about the Gala.
