January promises to bring some excellent music to those who live in Rancho Santa Fe as Mainly Mozart gears up for two local concerts in celebration of their 25th Anniversary Season. The Opening Night Concert of 2013 will be held on Friday, January 11th at 6:30 p.m. and will showcase the talents of violinists Yura Lee and Cynthia Phelps, alongside cellist Peter Wiley. Playing a mix of Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven, including Beethoven’s String Trio in E flat, this show will take your breath away with its intricacy. The concert will be held on the amazing stage at La Jolla’s TSRI Auditorium which is located at 10640 John Jay Hopkins Drive, allowing for an unsurpassed acoustic experience.
The second concert in the series will be near your Rancho Santa Fe home on Sunday, January 13th at The Crosby Estates and promises to be even more delightful while being closer to home. This concert will feature a tribute to Schubert’s Trio in B flat, D. 471 and Mozart’s Divertimento in E flat, K. 563 by the same performers. Tickets are available to individual performances or offered as a series by Mainly Mozart.
