The Rancho Santa Fe Unit of Rady Children’s Hospital is hosting a blood drive on Monday, April 29th from noon to 5 p.m. near your Rancho Santa Fe home at the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center, on 5970 La Sendita The San Diego Blood Bank will be accepting blood donations from the public, and the bloodmobile will be parked in the Community Center’s parking lot. This great opportunity to give to your community is happening very close to your Rancho Santa Fe home, making it easy to help out!
If you are 17 years old or older, healthy, and weigh at least 110 pounds, consider donating blood at this event. The blood bank recommends eating a good meal and being well hydrated before giving blood. Blood donors will be able to join the San Diego Blood Bank’s Donors 4 Life program. Members will have access to an online store and will be able to track cholesterol, pulse, and blood pressure after each donation.
