Critter Camp for Kids in Rancho Santa Fe Homes

The Helen Woodward Animal Center is a great resource for everyone living in Rancho Santa Fe homes.  It is dedicated to helping lost and abandoned animals find homes.  The Animal Center also works to educate the public on caring for animals and the earth we share with them.
Kids who love animals and live in Rancho Santa Fe homes have a great opportunity this summer.  The Animal Center is running Critter Camp for children in preschool all the way to 8th grade.  There are two themes “Animals in Their World” and “Animals in Our World.”  The themes alternate the camp weeks.  “Animals in Their World” focuses mainly on animals in the wild and how humans can impact their environment.  Campers who participate in a week with the theme “Animals in Our World” will get to learn about caring for domesticated animals and pets.  Kids living in Rancho Santa Fe homes will learn a lot in either theme.
Preschool campers will go to camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Kindergarten through 8th grade campers get to stay until 3 p.m.  Extended care is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The last week of camp has a daily rate option.  Campers can either bring lunch from their Rancho Santa Fe homes or buy it at camp.  For all the details and to sign up, visit Critter Camp’s website.
