Celebrate Music Near Your Rancho Santa Fe Home

Several delightful opportunities for quality classical music performances are scheduled for this weekend, near your Rancho Santa Fe home. Mainly Mozart talented flutist Tara Helen O’Connor and renown bassoonist Peter Kolkay will be combining efforts with orchestra pianist Anton Nel for an amazing two hours of beautiful sound and musical enjoyment.
The first concert is scheduled for Friday, March 15th at the Auditorium at TSRI, located in La Jolla at 10640 John Jay Hopkins Drive and begins at 7:30 p.m. Two days later, on Sunday, March 17th, another concert will be played at 2 p.m. in the St. Elizabeth Seton Church, in Carlsbad. Later that same day, beginning at 6 p.m., the trio will return near your Rancho Santa Fe home for a finale, held at the Crosby Estates.
Friday’s opening night in this year’s Spotlight Series includes a pre-concert reception featuring appetizers from Bouchée Bakery and wine from Wolf Blass Winery for the $55 ticket price. World-class composers such as Villa-Lobos, Koechlin, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, and Weber will all be showcased at the concert on Friday, while Sunday’s performance will feature Gabaye, Widor, Mozart, and Farrenc.
