If American big band music frequently plays on the stereo at your Rancho Santa Fe luxury home, mark your calendar for Sunday, November 24th from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The Rancho Santa Fe Big Band will be playing at The Village Church Fellowship Hall, located at 6225 Paseo Delicias. Their concert is called, “Great Composers and Arrangers From the American Song Book.” Bring your own wine and appetizers to refresh yourself. Tickets are available at The RSF Association Office. The Rancho Santa Fe Big Band is a professional-quality 17-member swing orchestra. Jack Wheaton, a professor and past president of the San Diego County Musicians Association of America, directs the band. Some of the best players in San Diego County have come together to perform and preserve the best music in big swing bands. The RSF Big Band has contributed to many charities well known to those who live in Rancho Santa Fe, including the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Family Food Drive, KSDS Radio and RSF Community Center.
