Rancho Santa Fe Home to Fair Fun

If you live in a Rancho Santa Fe home, you and your family probably look forward to the San Diego Fair every year! This year it’s opening at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 8th and running until Thursday, July 4th. If you have kids, bring them to the Infield for rides, magic shows, and the Infield Farm, where you can learn about organic gardening and even plant your own vegetable to take home (weekends only).
Wander over to the San Diego Pavilion and learn about some of the good work being done by groups near your Rancho Santa Fe home. Enjoy a free wine tasting every day at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., hosted by the San Diego County Vintners Association and Sam Bass of KyXy 96.5. Learn new cooking techniques for your Rancho Santa Fe home kitchen at 3 p.m. everyday, at the free cooking demonstration by local chefs.
If you’re looking for more sophisticated entertainment, try the Saddle Club for fine dining and cocktails, Thursday through Sunday. For gourmet Mexican fare and a great selection of on-tap beer, try Heineken Red Star Café or 17 Hands.
