Spend the day with your family and friends this May 16th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, exploring the historic North Park neighborhood at the 19th Annual San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park.
This annual free festival has grown into a local tradition that includes amazing local art, exciting live music and dance performances, eco-friendly activities, vendor booths and fabulous food.
On the forefront of the art scene, the San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park celebrates all types of art forms, and a live art element will be featured on Herman Street.
There will be something for everyone, including the kids. Our hands-on Kids Art Block offers children the chance to participate in a variety of interactive activities designed to stimulate and inspire their imaginations and create their own masterpieces. Kids are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of interactive art related activities all geared to teach and inspire young minds to explore their own artistic creativity. Learn how to craft with recycled items, hop around in a bouncy house, and take part in other fun interactive art projects.
All proceeds benefit North Park Main Street, the non-profit organization committed to the revitalization of the North Park Business Improvement District.
Craft Beer Block
Come thirsty to the Craft Beer Block and sample brews from San Diego’s favorite breweries. Or sip a full pour of beer at one of our two Beer Gardens. One ticket price gets you all-day entrance to the event where you will enjoy 13 4oz tasters from a selection of over 30 local craft brewers, several of which are ranked as the best new breweries in San Diego!
General admission festival entry begins at noon. VIP Admission ($65) lets you enter an hour early and grants all-you-can-drink access from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and you get a t-shirt to take home! In addition to craft beer the event will offer DJ music from 94/9 and if that doesn’t suit your desire you can sing on the karaoke stage with Ms. Pearl. There will be lite snacks for purchase in the Craft Beer Block along with specially designed parklets for relaxing with a beer and your friends.
This year’s San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park Beer Gardens will be stocked with a selection of San Diego’s very own Stone Brewing Co. This is a free event (with valid I.D.), and will feature full pours of your favorite Stone Brewing Co. brews and San Diego beers, including Modern Times and Mother Earth for your drinking enjoyment. Stop by one of the San Diego County Credit Union Festival of Arts in North Park’s Beer Gardens on 31st Street & University Ave. or next to the Main Stage on 30th Street & University Ave. for a cool refreshing brew. If you are into beer and want to purchase a full pour of craft beer then come to the either of the two Festival Beer Gardens located on University Avenue and 30th Street near the Main Stage and on 31st and University near Urban Coal Fired Pizza at the Bar Pink Stage. Each beer garden is 21 and over and free to enter. Listen to great music and enjoy 12 ounces of Stone, Modern Times and Mother Earth beer for only $5.50.
