Rancho Santa Fe home to booksFill your Rancho Santa Fe home with glorious books this summer when you sign your kids up for the Rancho Santa Fe Library’s Summer Reading Program! The program starts June 15th and continues through the summer, ending August 9th. Any child, from babies through 5th grade can participate in summer reading, either by reading themselves or listening to books. Sign up online here or at the branch closest to your Rancho Santa Fe home. Prizes are available July 1st.
Encourage the kids in your Rancho Santa Fe home to keep track of their extra hours. For every extra hour of reading, the library will donate a pound of Hill’s Science Diet dog food for area shelter dogs.
Be sure to take the kids in who live in Rancho Santa Fe to the Rancho Santa Fe Library for a great line up of summer activities, including Movie Mondays at 1 p.m. On Tuesdays, there’s Preschool Storytime 10:30 a.m., followed by Love on a Leash at 11:30 a.m. On Wednesdays, Baby storytime starts at 10:30 a.m. (June 19th-July 24th), and Kids Crafts begin at 1 p.m.. Tweens Crafts takes place on Thursdays at 1 p.m. and on Fridays, young children will enjoy Toddler Storytime at 10:30 a.m. or then Friday Fun at 1 p.m. Ask the librarian about other special events, including a magic show, mad science, and the ice cream social!
