Lena Headey Sells Mid-Century Home at a Loss

Her role as Queen Cersei Lannister may make you think of her home as dark, intense, seductive and mildly excessive, but in real life, Lena Headey’s Beverly Glen House speaks of more subdued, light, and minimalist designs far removed from her Game of Thrones character. The $1.685 million house, which she bought in June 2008, is now up for sale and priced at $1.395 million — a noticeable price drop for her 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home in Allenwood Road, Los Angeles.

The 2,507-square-foot Mid-Century home was redesigned for the modern era. Its gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances that open to a family room complete with skylights and beautiful Terrazzo floors. The single-family, 1959 house also boasts of glass walls and sliders that seamlessly change to a more relaxing entertainment area and a gorgeous
grass yard. The home’s master retreat includes a spa tub, a walk-in closet, dual vanities, and a shower stall.

Lena Headey is an English actress known for playing the role of Sarah Connor on Fox’s television spin-off, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Queen Gorgo in the 2007 American action film based on the 1998 comic series, 300. She currently appears in HBO’s television series Game of Thrones, which has received universal acclaim from critics and an almost cult-like following from the fans of the book and TV series. She currently has homes in Laurel Canyon and London.
